Project Descriptions

IN-PERSON

Raise Money for Ukraine: Set up stands outside popular local businesses, shops and cafes to raise money and awareness about the situation in Ukraine.  Dollars raised will be sent immediately to pay for food, shelter, clothing and medical aid for people fleeing the crisis.

Location: Varies (Middlesex and Monmouth Counties)
Time: 11:00 AM 1:00 PM

Beach Sweep: Join us at the beach to reduce and eliminate sources of litter that pollute our waters and beaches. The Beach Sweep is more than picking up trash from beaches. The data collected during the Beach Sweep turns a 90-minute program into a legacy of information to combat litter and other sources of pollution by identifying and monitoring trends. The Beach Sweep helps find solutions to keep beaches clean and healthy for citizens and marine life; and the data is used to create federal, state, and local programs and laws to reduce litter in the environment.

Location: Middletown Township (Monmouth County)
Time: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Put On Your Aprons! We will prepare, cook and package food for a community soup kitchen. Masks required.

Location: East Brunswick (Middlesex County)
